Hollow Knight on Steam Greenlight
Hollow Knight is an action adventure game currently under development by Team Cherry, a new australian indie games team consisting of 3 people. It’s set in a vast inter-connected underground world named Hallownest, a dark and eerie environment. In this two-dimensional world you’ll get to explore the carefully crafted insect world, avoiding traps, solving ancient mysteries and encountering a myriad of weird and wonderful NPC’s. It’s sure to put your platforming skills to the test, rewarding you with powerful new abilities and spells along the way which can be used to open up even more paths. Skilled players can strive to earn a collection of challenging ‘feats’, and explore hidden areas full of the toughest challenges and battles. At a first glance, it definitely looks very well made, with a lot of variation and content, which isn’t always the case with small indie platformers.
As this is Team Cherry’s first game they are still looking for funding, with a kickstarter and steam greenlight on the way. Hollow knight will launch on PC, Mac and Linux, with possibly other platforms in the future. Expected price: $15.00 USD
