Holotech Studios expands greatly on its Animaze concept

As humans, we are all limited by our corporeal form. Online we get to be who we want to be when we hide behind a screen and digital avatars, but once your camera turns on it’s still you who is on display. Holotech Studios aims to change that with Animaze, a software that has many different uses. Want to create online content such as Let’s Plays without revealing your real face? Want to spice up your online DnD campaign by getting truly in-character? Or maybe you just want to facetime with friends and mess around a bit? For all these situations and more Animaze has you covered, allowing you to step into the skin of a virtual persona. The software can be downloaded on Steam and has different tiers, with the free tier recently being updated to include complex audio-based lip sync as well as iPhone Bridge. Additional tracking technologies, such as Leap Motion hand tracking, are planned to be added to the free tier at a later date. Paid subscriptions also offer a whole slew of avatars, backgrounds, emotes and lots more to play around with.
