Everly is a movie about about a woman called… Everly (Salma Hayek), who’s a captive prostitute who turned to the police and is now functioning as a police informant. Unfortunately for her, her former boss Taiko (Hiroyuki Watanabe) found out about her intentions to betray him and of course, he isn’t too glad to hear the news. Everly knows her lifespan suddenly lost quite a few years as the Yakuza is now after her and she sees no other way than to call her mother and give her the assignment to bring her son to safety. Soon enough though, it seems that the Yakuza are everywhere and now Everly needs to fight them off, wave after wave.
