Hoplegs gets a release date
Indie studio WhyKev has announced the release date for the full version of their unconventional platformer Hoplegs on Steam. The game is set to launch on April 22nd. In this game, players take control of a block with 4 legs. Each button on their controller -or assigned key on their keyboard- controls a single leg. The aim of the game is to navigate through each of the game’s 30+ levels. Hoplegs also features a built-in level editor, allowing players to create new stages with special features and a wide variety of objects. These levels can then be shared with the community.
One of the standout features is a local co-op mode for up to 4 players. There are also multiple unlockable items in hidden areas that allow players to customize their hats, faces, boxes and legs. Players can choose out of 20 legs, with more options coming soon. The full version of the game is less than a month away, but if you can’t wait that long, a demo version is available now on Steam.
