Into the Emberlands hops onto Switch next month
Into the Emberlands, the roguelite exploration adventure developed by Tiny Roar and published by Daedalic Entertainment, will launch on Nintendo Switch on July 2. After a successful Early Access PC version, which we previewed, Into the Emberlands makes its handheld debut with all content from the 1.0 release. This includes expanded biomes, improved mechanics, and multiple quality-of-life enhancements developed in close collaboration with the community during Early Access.
Players take on the role of the Lightbearer, navigating procedurally generated environments covered in a mysterious miasma. The goal is to rescue creatures known as Knacks, collect resources, and help rebuild the world by lighting lanterns and uncovering new areas. The game blends gentle exploration with roguelite elements, a calming soundtrack, and a distinctive visual style.The Switch version also includes the three Lightbearer skins from the Supporter Pack: The Stubborn, The Determined, and The Fanatic, and a new in-game companion: a flying platypus. Into the Emberlands is now available for pre-order via the Nintendo eShop, with a 20% launch discount for early purchasers.
