Jellystone! now on Cartoon Network
It’s often said that ‘old things’ become popular again, and this proves to be true for many items, be it styles of clothing, toys, movies, series, but also cartoons. We have seen a new Tom & Jerry adventure, but also a sequel to the ever-popular Space Jam. While some opinions are divided that we truly need to rehash old content and sell it as something new, there’s no denying that Jellystone! is a wacky and interesting project. Captain Caveman, Top Cat, Yogi, Boo-Boo, and Jabberjaw are back to entertain young and old in this new series, that is now on Cartoon Network as well.
We were able to view one of this new show’s episodes, and we were quite entertained. True, we had to get used to the iconic aforementioned characters’ new visual overhaul, but we loved the absurdist comedy that quickly ensued. We feel like this is a cartoon that goes back to basics, be it with some well-voiced humor, or slapstick gags dating from simpler times. We were very much entertained.
