Jötunnslayer adds Njord and new weapons in new update!
Indie game publisher Grindstone and developer Games Farm have released a new content update (0.3) for Jötunnslayer: Hordes of Hel. The update introduces a character: Njord, the god of the high seas, wealth, and fishing, who brings naval power and a brand new arsenal of weapons to each hero.
Let’s take a look at what Njord can do. Firstly, he’ll be able to summon water monsters from the depths and use unique water-based abilities. In addition, Njord has certain passive abilities, such as increasing the acquisition of gold, the retention of gold, and the spawning of chests.
Next, each hero now has two new weapons at their disposal, each of which has its own unique characteristics.
- Beserker: Sea Wolf’s Axes and Jagged Axes
- Seerees: Tidecall Staff and Totemic Staff
- Revenant: Serpent Bow and Composite Bow
- Flame Sister: Pirate Dagger and Cruel Dagger
Last but not least, the tenth episode of ‘Into Hel – Dev Diary’ has been released as well. It offers a closer look at the new content, but also teases update 0.4, which will bring a new playable character, a new world, and a new god. It’s scheduled for release in mid-May.
