Journey along to the Stone Age in Far Cry Primal

Today Ubisoft announced the development of Far Cry Primal, the next exciting chapter in the Far Cry franchise. This new Far Cry will be taking place in the Stone Age.

The renowned franchise that took you to the tropics and in which you climbed the Himalaya’s is now bringing you to an open world sandbox gameplay in a time in which mankind was not at the top of the food chain. This chapter will introduce humans to ginormous animals, breath-taking surroundings and unpredictable wild encounters.

Players will be playing as Takkar, a seasoned hunter and the last survivor of his hunting-pack. Once arriving in the majestic and wild land of Oros, players will have 1 simple purpose: survive in a world in which mankind is a prey to all. Players will encounter a cast of memorable characters who will help you tame the dangers of the wilderness. During your journey you’ll be hunting for food and using your fire as a weapon to defend yourself from ferocious predators. You’ll also be making weapons and tools of remains of dead animals and you’ll also be going into battle against other tribes to rule over Oros.

Far Cry Primal will be available worldwide on February 23^rd 2016 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The worldwide release for PC will take place in March 2016.
