LEVEL-5 reveals some of the upcoming games
During an event in Tokyo, LEVEL-5 showed some of the gems that are to be expected. Let’s dive into the different games that they’ve announced.
Lady Layton: The Millionaire Ariadone’s Conspiracy
As you might expect from the title, this is a new instalment of the Professor Layton series. You’ll be playing as both the professor as ‘Kat’ or Katrielle Layton. The dynamic of the game switches a bit from problem-solving one case to helping multiple Londeners with their mysterious problems. This increases the pace and makes it even more funnier than it already is. It is said to be released in Japan during spring, while the West will get their game somewhere in 2017.
The Snack World
This is the fourth cross-media game that will be released on mobile devices as on the Nintendo 3DS. You’ll be transported to a typical RPG settting with shops and inns, even vending machines are available. If that isn’t enough, there will be a Snack World series as well were the adventures of Chup are displayed.
Inazuma Eleven Ares
This title is the seventh instalment of the Inazuma Eleven series. This game will take place right after the first title and is a parallel world. The 11 members are new characters, although you will see some of the popular players now and then. The trailer shows that there are 3 protagonists that will show the story in 3 different views. Even more, there will be a new ‘sponsorship’ system that will be implemented, where corporate entities get the chance to sponsor the football teams.
Megaton Musashi
This is in the same style as a Yo-Kai Watch as The Snack World as it is the fifth cross-media game. It combines robot stories with school mysteries which can be played on different media. This gives the opportunity to get a different view on the story per device while you can also get the entire narrative by going through all the platforms.
