LG shares its goal to use more than ten times as much recycled plastic by 2025
The climate crisis isn’t a new topic, but it’s one that gets debated more and more as we start to experience aggravated natural disasters and other negative effects of our changing planet. One thing that will always remain important is recycling, and that is what LG has recently promised to start increasingly doing. As of right now, LG uses an estimated 20.000 tons of recycled plastic each year, usually reworking it for their appliances such as TVs, computer monitors, fridges, and so much more. By 2025, a meager three and a half years from now, LG wants to have increased that amount to 600.000 tons. They are also battling climate change in other ways, such as reducing emissions in all steps of the production process. For example in factories or transportation.
