Line-up of Xbox and Windows 10 games

During their presentation today, Xbox has revealed a lot of games that will be released in the near future. As there are a lot of titles, they’re ordered alphabetically.

ARK: Survival Evolved

This indie game is extremely popular and over 1 million copies have been sold via Game Preview. You need to survive on this mysterious island, where you need to hunt and tame dinosaurs to explore the island and decrease the chance to get eaten yourself. Also, you can team up with other survivors, play locally split-screen or go on a sole adventure.

Battlefield 1

This franchise is certainly known for its large-scale battles. Battlefield 1 will give you the possibility to fight in 64-player battles, where you can take control of a lot of vehicles and other transportation choices. The scenes where you’ll be fighting? Well, be prepared to face your enemy in France, the Arabian Desert and London. If you have Xbox One with EA Access, you can play it first on the 13th of October, while others will have to wait until the 16th of October.

Dead Rising 4

You’ve read it right, you’ll be able to get back in the game with Frank West. Be ready to smash some zombies with some unexpected weaponry and even EXO suits. To make it more joyful, this new instalment will be available this holiday. Enjoy the themed trailer!

Final Fantasy XV

Final Fantasy fans, rejoice! This new title will be released on the 30th of September, where you will be able to control the Crown Prince Noctis. The combination of the fast-paced fighting scenes, amazing graphics and an open world makes it something to look forward to, if you’re into this genre at least.

Forza Horizon 3

One other premiere during this event was the new Forza game. This instalment will take you to Australia, where you will be racing a lot of different environments. Even more, you’ll have the possibilty to choose between 350 cars. Hone your driving skills, as this game will be released on the 27th of September this year.

Gears of War 4

You can take up arms against the Swarm once more in this new game. After barely escaping a vicious attack, JD Fenix and his friends Kait and Del risk their lives to rescue their loved ones and discover the source of their enemies. This game will be available as an Xbox Play Anywhere title on the 11th of October.

Gwent

Gamers that have played The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, will certainly know this card game. The developers listened to the feedback and made a standalone collectable card game. To do so, new rules and mechanics were added. A closed beta is coming up, so keep their page in mind.

Halo Wars 2

This RTS game is back with yet another great title. In this second instalment, you need to lead armies of Spartans, Warthogs, Scorpions and other new units in a vicious war against a new enemy, The Banished. Halo Wars 2 can be expected as an Xbox Play Anywhere title on the 21th of February.

Inside

Playdead has created this game as a follow-up to the hit ‘Limbo’. Get ready to experience an emotional ride, guided with dark art. This puzzle game will be available on the 29th of June. To celebrate this occasion, Limbo will be free from today on until the 20th of June.

Minecraft

This game has been released for a while, but they are happy to announce that there will be some major updates. First of all, it will be possible to play the game cross-device. The second addition are the ‘realms’, where dedicated servers are available for players to create their own, private world. This feature can be tested by Xbox Live accounts for free for one month with the Minecraft app. The last biggest element is the possibilty to customize everything by adding add-ons. The trailer shows some great examples of these new aspects.

ReCore

ReCore is an action-adventure game where you are placed in the role of Joule. She’s one of the last remaining humans and she forged friendships with several robotic allies. Available worldwide as an Xbox Play Anywhere title on the 13th of September.

Sea of Thieves

Have you ever wanted to be a pirate? Sea of Thieves gives you this chance.! In this world, you set the rules and goals, but when you meet another crew it is always wondering what their intentions are.

State of Decay 2

Zombies are returning in this second title as well, where your choices have a definite influence on the community. How will you shape your town? Get ready for a new infestation in 2017.

Scalebound

Dragons are majestic creatures that are always a good idea for a game. Scalebound submerges you in a world were you’re linked to your dragon. You can choose how you tackle your enemies: Will you go alone or team up with friends? The combination of melee, ranged and dragon attacks makes it a very interesting gameplay. Available as an Xbox Play Anywhere title in 2017.

Tacoma

We’re warped to the year 2088 and you’re entering an abandoned ship. The crew went missing and it isn’t clear what really happened. Discover the truth, if you dare. This game is the follow-up of the exploration game ‘Gone Home’ and will be available next year.

Tekken 7

The all-known fighting game is back for more, where you’ll be able to pick your favorite champions or some new blood. The game offers enhanced fight mechanics, which makes things more interesting. Prepare yourselves, as this game will be released in early 2017.

Tom Clancy’s The Division Expansion I: Underground

The Division is getting a first expansion, where you need to save what remains. There are randomly generated mazes of subways where evil enemies awaits. Expect some powerful loot in return though. This new expansion will be released on the 28th of June.

We Happy Few

What if there was something to make you happy? A drug that you could take to forget the grim existence? ‘We Happy Few’ shows what happens when you get this chance. Will you keep on taking this med or will you stop and become a ‘Downer’?
