Lineage 2: Revolution receives its first major update

Netmarbe announced today the first major update for its popular mobile MMORPG, Lineage 2: Revolution. The update adds two massive PVP battle gameplay modes: Fortress Siege and Open Siege.

Fortress Siege is held every Friday from 19:30 – 20:00 GMT. You play with a maximum of 50 players of your clan against an other. You must first successfully bid on a desired fortress, and then enter the battle against the clan that’s defending the fortress. Bidding for the fortresses is held from 00:00 – 19:00 GMT every Thursday. All players will win Adena, EXP, and Proof of Blood, and the winning clan will earn various bonus rewards.

Open Siege is held every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 19:30 – 20:00 GMT. When above level 11 you may participate in this smaller scale 30v.30 battle, as a sort of warm-up match for the grander Fortress Siege. All participants will have equal combat power and level and can freely choose any class and race before entering on their own, or with a party up to five players. Similar to Fortress Siege, the team that “imprints” on their opponent’s Holy Artefacts wins. You receive rewards based on the results of the match or your personal contribution.

To keep up with the increasing amount of players, Netmarble will also open up three new servers in Europe and North America (Kruma 05, Kenrauhel 07 and Deforge 06).
