Lovecraftian Days give a glimpse at upcoming console releases

Fulqrum’s Publishing’s Lovecraftian Days, an event that celebrates the influence of H.P. Lovecraft’s work in gaming, is treating horror fans well this year. The event, running from April 14 until April 21 this year, celebrates the launch of Stygian: Outer Gods and Viscerafest. The highlights to date have been announcements about Forgive Me, Father 2 and Decadent.
Forgive Me, Father 2 is a critically acclaimed eldritch horror FPS game that took inspiration from classics such as Doom and Quake. By combining this inspiration with modern mechanics and its unique, hand-drawn comic-like visual style, it offers a love letter to all fans of FPS games. The game, currently a PC exclusive, is coming to consoles, so even more gamers can choose their weapons to brave the madness and slay Lovecraftian nightmares. Forgive Me Father 2 is launching on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch in Fall 2025.
On top of this announcement, the Lovecraftian Days also delivered a teaser for Decadent, a story-driven Lovecraftian FPS that’s still in early development. In Decadent you are a royal explorer who became the host to a mysterious parasite that pushes your courage and sanity to the limit. The game focuses on atmospheric exploration, making you feel a distinct sense of loneliness. Decadent is set to launch in 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam, Epic Games Store, and various digital stores.
