Marvelous Europe release Gungrave VR
GUNGRAVE VR, the PlayStation VR game for PlayStation 4 by Marvelous Europe, launches digitally today. The game features first- and third-person gameplay modes, and the standalone episode 2 content GUNGRAVE VR U.N, which expands on the story and gameplay of Gungrave VR greatly.
In addition to that, Marvelous also announced that GUNGRAVE VR: Loaded Coffin Edition, which contains both Gungrave VR and Gungrave VR U.N, will also be released today on December 7th of 2018. The physical edition of Gungrave VR: Loaded Coffin also contains an exclusive Gungrave VR poster.
In Gungrave VR, players take control of undead assassin Beyond The Grave with his iconic pair of massive handguns, Cerberus, and will have to master different playstyles to take down the various foes that stand in his way. Levels consist either of free-moving third-person gameplay or first-person action that includes both stationary and mobile sections, offering players a plethora of modes putting them in the shoes of the back-from-the-dead Millennion agent himself. With an array of shooting attacks, close-ranging strikes using Grave’s Death Coffin, slow-motion Reaper Time, and more, Gungrave VR brings a unique experience to virtual reality for the very first time.
With English and Japanese voice options and designs from original character designer Yasuhori Nightow, Gungrave VR offers players an authentic and immersive Gungrave experience in virtual reality. Along with pulse-pounding gunplay in the base game, the standalone episode Gungrave VR U.N adds three challenging levels with new side-scrolling gameplay and massive bosses, plus original animated opening and ending sequences.\
Key features include multiple perspectives to master and broad language support. Along with that you get to choose between three difficulty modes: Normal, Hard and Kick-Ass. Last but not least, A Legendary Pedigree: Gungrave VR showcases the return of character designer Yasuhori Nightow (Trigun), with the original designers at Red Entertainment as advisers. Grave and Mika’s designs have been given a thorough upgrade after 14 long years.
The digital GUNGRAVE VR, GUNGRAVE VR U.N and the physical version GUNGRAVE VR: Loaded Coffin Edition are out now and available on PlayStation 4.
