Marvelous reveals opening cinematic for Loop8!
Marvelous Europe has released a new cinematic trailer for Loop8: Summer of Gods, a narrative-driven RPG that takes players on a time-traveling adventure. The opening cinematic provides a glimpse into the game’s storyline, art style, and soundtrack, featuring detailed watercolor-inspired scenery, anime-influenced character designs, and a poignant original song sung by NaHo/QiSui.
In the game, players follow protagonist Nini and his classmates as they try to defeat the Kegai, demonic entities that have pushed humanity to the brink of extinction. Using Nini’s “Demon Sight,” players can reset the world and relive the 8th month over and over until they get it right. Loop8: Summer of Gods is available for pre-purchase on consoles via the Marvelous Webstore and will be released on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC via Steam on June 6, 2023.
