Men of War II finally gets a release date
Fulqrum Publishing and Ukrainian studio Best Way are pleased to reveal the release date of their highly anticipated RTS title, Men of War II. The chosen day holds significance for long-time fans of the series, as it marks the 10th anniversary since the full release of Men of War: Assault Squad 2. After conducting several public playtests last year, the Best Way team decided to invest additional development time to incorporate community feedback. As a result, players can expect numerous technical improvements, bug fixes, balance adjustments, and upgrades to audio-visual quality since the last Open Beta.
Men of War II will debut with three playable nations – the Soviets, the Americans, and the Third Reich – each featuring its own narrative campaign. Additionally, there will be two Historical campaigns, a dynamic Conquest campaign, and a skirmish-like Raid mode. All single-player content can be enjoyed in co-op mode with up to five players. The game also offers extensive PvP and PvE multiplayer options, including ranked match-making for all three battle setups (Battalions, Combined Arms, and Classic Mode). This new installment in the acclaimed RTS franchise promises a World War II real-time strategy experience like never before, boasting an unprecedented variety of units with different specializations, a commitment to historical accuracy, advanced enemy AI, enhanced visual and audio elements, and a wealth of customizable gameplay options and modes for both single-player and multiplayer. Men of War II caters to both hardcore RTS enthusiasts and more casual players. Men of War II will be available on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and other digital platforms on May 15, 2024, with a suggested retail price of $44.99 USD / £37.99 GBP / €44.99 EUR.
