One of the most exciting sci-fi franchises ever created now comes to the game screen! Game publisher NACON and Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM), a leading entertainment company producing premium movie and TV content for a variety of platforms, announce a partnership for a brand new RoboCop video game based on the first three films in the original RoboCop universe. This RoboCop game gets a new story and is developed by studio Teyon, who previously made the successful Terminator: Resistance. The game will be released in 2023 for console and PC platforms.

RoboCop is a classic sci-fi action-adventure and one of Hollywood’s most famous movie franchises of all time. The first film in the franchise -directed by Paul Verhoeven- was released in 1987 and still resonates with audiences worldwide. Celebrating its 35th anniversary next year, RoboCop continues to be a pop culture phenomenon with several licensed products and a strong history in video games.

NACON and Teyon will partner with MGM to develop an authentic RoboCop gaming experience that is true to the DNA of the franchise and allows players to play as RoboCop like never before. The game features an original story based on the original movies, in which the good cop Alex Murphy – after being mortally wounded by ruthless criminals – is patched up and improved by innovative doctors into the unstoppable crime-fighting cyborg called ‘RoboCop’.
