New details for Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires announced
The Dynasty Warriors franchise is one that has been going strong since 1997. With an ‘Empires‘ version often coming after the regular game, these titles bring forward a more tactical approach to the series. Lately, it feels like the base games have had a few lesser releases, such as Dynasty Warriors 9 and Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Definitive Edition, with older games scoring much higher.
In Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires players will shape the History of the Three Kingdoms. You won’t have to follow history to be successful, you can write your own history in ways you’ve never imagined, either by the sword or through a robust political system. Depending on your play style, you will be awarded one of six titles based on how you behave and thus how others view your reputation. Good players will form other alliances than evil players, and their status will trigger special events in the world that are unique to this title.
Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires will be released on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC and Switch on February 15th, 2022. Google Stadia users will have to wait a bit longer, as there is a release planned at a later date.
