New details for the Dying Light games on Switch emerge!

Last week, Dying Light 2 Stay Human – Cloud Version was revealed to come to the Switch, during the latest Nintendo Direct. Now, Techland has announced more details for the upcoming title, which launches alongside the PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One releases. The game is set to arrive on the 4th of February, 2022. If you can’t wait until then, you’ll be happy to learn that you can experience the first Dying Light game much sooner: Dying Light Platinum Edition arrives on the Nintendo Switch on October 19th. This is the first time that a Techland title is releasing on the Switch, and this ultimate edition of the beloved game is the perfect way to prepare for Stay Human.

Like its predecessor, Stay Human is a story-driven open-world action RPG. Building upon the foundation laid by 2015’s Dying Light, the game takes players to the City, a hub that acts as mankind’s last stronghold in the fight against the virus. In this lost civilization, creative approaches are required if players want to find items and craft gear. A day and night cycle allows players to plunder abandoned lairs of the infected at night while discovering the dark secrets of those in power during the day. It’s up to the player to choose a side and write their own story. Switch players will soon be able to master both parkour skills and tactical combat while learning to survive in this brutal open-world RPG. Dying Light 2 Stay Human uses cloud streaming technology and requires a Nintendo account and consistent high-speed internet connection. The game will not be available in all countries; players are advised to check the Nintendo eShop for details about its availability in their region.
