New footage revealed of Wreckfest on the Switch

Wreckfest, an icon in the realistic demolition derby game genre is getting ported over to Nintendo’s handheld console. We already covered this title on PlayStation 4, PC, and more recently PlayStation 5. For those who were hoping for a complete edition, we come bearing sad news, as the Switch version will just come as a base package and the two seasons are available separately. The base game has a decent amount of content, while the two DLCs add a lot of new things to the lineup. Season one includes 20 crazy cars, 20 roof decorations, and a customization pack with new armors and rims, while season two grants you an additional twelve cars. Season one will set you back $14.99/ €14.99/ £11.99 and season two will cost you $12.99/ €12.99/ £9.99.

Key features include:

  • Awesome Cars – Old, banged-up, patched-together cars that simply ooze style! From old American heavy-hitters to agile Europeans and fun Asians, you won’t find anything like this in other games.
  • Meaningful Customization – Change not only the look of your cars but also upgrade their body armor
  • Receive free updates that add new tracks and tournament challenges with unique rewards (please note: tournaments will be a free upgrade, available post-launch)
  • Multiplayer – Wreck your friends online and take racing to the limit while chasing demolition dominance!

Are you ready to drive fast and die last? Wreckfest will be released for the Switch on June 21st, 2022, and the base game will be priced at $39.99/ €39.99/ £34.99.
