New mechanics in For The King II get revealed through latest trailer
Curve Games and IronOak Games are working on For The King II, a sequel to their successful roguelike RPG from 2017 that was received particularly well by fans of the genre. This new game is slated to come out in 2023 on Steam and promises to return us to a magical land of questing and adventuring in the name of the crown, though plenty of new mechanics will be introduced. In the latest trailer which you can see below, the devs showcase ‘landboats’: vehicles players can use to travel together. The ability to hire mercenaries for your party or acquire pets is also confirmed. Beyond that, we can see a lot of gameplay from the first For The King returning with updated graphics. Considering how good that game was, this is pretty exciting!
