New trailer for Echoes of Aincrad highlights the upcoming RPG’s story
Upcoming RPG Echoes of Aincrad, made and released by Bandai Namco and based on the Sword Art Online franchise, already released a trailer focused on gameplay, which we previously highlighted. But now a new trailer has dropped that instead focuses on the story. You won’t need to have any knowledge of the franchise to play Echoes of Aincrad, since it kickstarts a brand new adventure with fresh characters, though familiar faces will appear. You step into the shoes of a player, absorbed into a video game and forced to traverse various dungeon floors in a floating castle, with freedom waiting at the end. As you can see from the trailer below, it’s quite the unique premise. Echoes of Aincrad will release for PC and consoles on July 10th.
