No Man’s Sky – Coming to Nintendo Switch!
The Nintendo Switch version of the sci-fi exploration and survival game No Man’s Sky will be released worldwide on October 7, 2022! The game will be available digitally through Nintendo’s own e-shop and physically through all retailers. For the very first time, a physical PlayStation 5 version will also be made available on the same day! No Man’s Sky has been developed and published by Hello Games, and will be published for the Switch in collaboration with Bandai Namco.
No Man’s Sky is a science fiction exploration game set in a procedurally generated universe. The game features an almost infinite number of never-before-seen planets and galaxies to explore, each teeming with life to be discovered. Players can choose to explore, craft, build, trade, fight or just try to survive in this vast intergalactic playground.
Since its initial launch, No Man’s Sky has received six years of major content updates, twenty to date. On day one, players of the Nintendo Switch version can expect everything that was possible and applicable in those updates to be available, as well as continuous updates in the future that deliver new content. As a live service game, No Man’s Sky is constantly evolving with a continuous stream of new content and features coming to all platforms, including Nintendo Switch.
No Man’s Sky was released worldwide for PlayStation 4 and PC (via Steam) in August 2016, for Xbox One in July 2018, and for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X & Series S in November 2020. A version of the game for macOS and iPadOS are in development.
