Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire – Ultimate Edition hits PS4 and Xbox One
Versus Evil and Obsidian Entertainment’s Pillars of Eternity sequel launches today on consoles. Originally released on PC and Mac, Deadfire received universal critical acclaim and won numerous awards. The long-awaited console version launches today on PS4 and Xbox One, with a Switch version coming later this year. This ultimate edition of Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire features all the major updates and expansions available for the PC version, including Beast of Winter, Seeker, Slayer, Survivor and Forgotten Sanctum.
Deadfire offers an enormous open-world experience, with a comprehensive cast of characters. Building on the foundation of classic tabletop RPG games, it provides players with a deep single-player RPG experience with either a turn-based mode or classic real-time with pause. The game is available now digitally through the Microsoft Store and Playstation Store. A physical version is available as well, both as a standard and a collector’s edition. The latter includes the game, an Od Nua statue, a Spacepig keychain and a metal-optic 3D sticker, all presented in an attractive premium box. No exact release date is known yet for the Switch version.
