Play a demon’s scary game in Suffer the Night
First-person horror games are not unique anymore and flood the market with many great (and less great) indies appearing. There are monsters, there are psychological horrors, and there are team games such as Phasmaphobia that bring their own unique take to horror as a genre. It’s good to see something refreshing in the way a game approaches horror or in the story, which is exactly what Suffer the Night seems to be doing. In this new game, coming out in 2023 with a demo available now, players view the world through the eyes of Stacey, a painter of horror illustrations who plays a mysterious text-based game delivered to her on an old floppy. This results in a mysterious stranger appearing on the outside of her cabin, who you definitely do not want to let in.
