Project Tower mixes it up with third-person bullet hell

That bullet hell games can be mesmerizingly fun from a classic top-down perspective is well-known. We never realized it could look so intimidatingly beautiful from a third-person perspective though, as Project Tower proves in the trailer below. The game brings you a movie-like sci-fi experience where the player gets to take on giant insectoid aliens and otherworldly creatures from a race named the Hiks. These aliens use prisoners as practice for their army. To make sure they are an adamant challenge, the prisoners get abilities to transform into different entities too. The player can put these transformations to use to solve puzzles and survive fights while focusing on taking out the big baddies. Utilizing the power of Unreal Engine 5, the colorful yet dangerous projectiles coming at you are something to behold. Project Tower will be released on a yet-to-be-announced release date for PC and PlayStation.
