Project Zero/Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is being remastered for this generation

If you ever played a Project Zero game, also known as Fatal Frame outside of Europe, you know that these games breathe Japanese horror. With a camera and a flashlight in your hand, you find yourself amongst many ghosts with bad intentions, and you need to find a way to stay alive. One of the older titles named Mask of the Lunar Eclipse will be finding its way to the modern and the latest generation of consoles and PC on March 9th, 2022.

” A decade after five young girls mysteriously disappeared at an island festival, their memories of the events that transpired during their disappearance remain fuzzy. But when two of the girls are found dead days apart ten years after the initial vanishing, the remaining three teenagers head back to the island — a haunted place possessed by ghosts and spirits — to solve the mystery of their friends’ death, while also unlocking the secrets to the memories they left behind.”

Aside from the normal game there will also be a Digital Deluxe Edition that gives you the Rogetsu Isle Dinner Party Costume Set, and a digital art book (original soundtrack included). Pre-ordering the digital game will give you extra costumes as well, and if you buy it before March 22nd, 2022, you also get an early purchase “Marie Rose Outfit” from the Dead or Alive games for Ruka.
