PS Plus members can get FOAMSTARS for free!

SQUARE ENIX has announced that FOAMSTARS, their new online 4v4 foam party shooter exclusively available on PS5 and PS4, will be included in PlayStation Plus’ monthly game lineup. This means that all members of the service can download and play the game at no additional cost from launch until March 4, 2024. Players who access the game during this period will retain it in their PlayStation Plus library and can continue playing as long as their membership remains active. Starting from March 5, 2024, FOAMSTARS will be available on the PlayStation Store for €29.99, with a PlayStation Plus membership required for gameplay. The game will receive free seasonally-themed updates for one year, and players can opt to purchase a Premium Season Pass for €5.99 for additional content, including cosmetics, characters, maps, and game modes specific to each season.

At launch, FOAMSTARS will offer three PvP multiplayer modes: Smash the Star, Happy Bath Survival, and the newly revealed Rubber Duck Party. Each mode will feature three meticulously designed maps, randomly selected during matchmaking to provide players with diverse and strategic experiences. Additionally, Foamstar Missions and Squad Missions will introduce solo and team-based PvE experiences, challenging players to protect Bath Vegas during dynamically generated battles. These missions offer opportunities for players to delve into FOAMSTARS characters, enhance their skills, and enjoy cooperative play with friends, serving as a preparation for the competitive PvP battles. FOAMSTARS also features a variety of in-game Challenges, providing exciting rewards such as new playable characters and substantial experience bonuses for Season Pass progression. PlayStation Plus Members can get stuck in FOAMSTARS starting February 6, 2024.
