QuizWitz crowdfunding campaign is at 76% of their initial goal
QuizWitz, the browser-based party quiz game developed by the Belgian-based studio CatLab Interactive went in beta few months ago and has been well received by many of the testers at exhibitions such as GameForce 2015.
To continue the development of the online party quiz game playable with friends and family, they’ve turned to crowdfunding. Thijs Van der Schaeghe, the alpha cat at CatLab Interactive, reveals that “a crowdfunding campaign doesn’t just take care of funds. It also builds a community and challenges you to continue the development of your project in a creative way.” At the moment, the campaign is at 76% of their 5.000€ goal with a mere 83 backers. A steady number that may rise in the next three remaining days of the campaign, which you can read more about here.
To back up their campaign, the studio is organizing two live QuizWitz events for which CatLab Interactive has developed a new expansion on their game to play in teams of four players. The first event has already taken place but the second event will be held in Antwerp, 6th of November. The event is booked though but the developers would like to remind you that although you cannot compete in the event, you’re more than welcome to stand back and discover the game from a distance.
