Raiden III x MIKADO MANIAX gets a release date!
Today, NIS America announced the release date for Raiden III x MIKADO MANIAX, the latest entry in the beloved Raiden series. Seibu Kaihatsu created the first Raiden game back in 1990. The simple controls–directional movement and weapons–combined with subtle difficulty and detailed pixel art style, made Raiden an instant success and established it among the greats in the pantheon of shooting games. Raiden III was released in 2005 and was the first 3D entry in the series. Despite being released eleven years after its predecessor, it faithfully retained the classic Raiden essence fans love.
Raiden III x MIKADO MANIAX celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Raiden series and marks 18 years after the game’s initial release on PS2, PC, and in arcades. It boasts a multitude of new features on the latest hardware. Raiden III x MIKADO MANIAX is coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox X|S, and PC on June 6, 2023, in North America. The game launches on June 9, 2023, in Europe and Oceania. Preorders for limited edition physical copies of Raiden III x MIKADO MANIAX are now available through the official NIS webstore. This Deluxe Edition includes the game on your platform of choice, a “Thundersongs” 2-disc original soundtrack, “Supercharged Schematics” poster, and a “Command Base” acrylic phone stand, all presented in a collector’s box.
