Railroads Online introduces a new map
Railroads Online, the long-awaited railroad simulator released a new trailer showcasing the regions players can explore in the game. In Railroads Online players can develop their railroads in various sandbox open worlds. In this world, they have to connect industrial chains via railways to transport goods and raw materials. These railways have to be planned and constructed carefully to be able to navigate the unique topography and distribution of industrious locations of each environment.
It is these environments that are the subject of the trailer, which gives us a glimpse of; Pine Valley, a landscape full of lush forests, towering mountains, and deep canyons. Lake Valley is the next area where aspiring railway builders have to account for a large lake at the center of the map. We also get another view of Aurora Falls, a region rich with mountain lakes and dense forests. Here players can also see the aurora borealis during nighttime. The focal point of the trailer, however, was a completely new area: Mesa Plains, where you have to navigate through desert plains and narrow canyons. These locations form the backdrop of Railroads Online and are where players can build the railroad tracks of their heart and share these with up to 15 others through online multiplayer.
These maps will all be availble on the PC version when Railroads Online releases on December 5th but Mesa Plains will be added to the console versions in a future patch. Get Railroads Online on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC and become a railroad tycoon!
