Rainbow Six Extraction gets a launch date!

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction, the latest game in the Rainbox Six franchise, is set to launch on the 16th of September 2021. The game will support cross-play, cross-save and cross-progression on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, Luna Stadia and Windows PC through the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store. Additionally, the game is part of Ubisoft+, Ubisoft’s subscription service for PC. Originally titled Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Quarantine, Extraction offers up a brand new tactical co-op PvE experience that will unite Operators in fighting against a mysterious threat.

Extraction sees players join REACT, a specialized team that was assembled to take on the parasite. Up to three players can form a squad of familiar Operators from Rainbox Six siege to take on aliens known as the Archæans. After completing a goal, players will have to choose between retreating and cashing in their rewards or continue to take on bigger, badder enemies and reap even greater rewards in a chaotic and intense experience. Players will be able to choose from 18 Rainbow Six Operators, each equipped with specialized REACT gear, weapons, gadgets and skills that players will need to learn and master. The unique playstyle for each Operator makes for endless customization when it comes to assembling a team.
