Release date and a surprise actor revealed for Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters

If you’re a fan of Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40,000 franchise, you’ll be delighted to read that developer Frontier Foundry has revealed the release date for their upcoming new game set in the universe of the popular tabletop miniatures game. Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters will be available on PC through the Epic Games Store and Steam on the 5th of May. Preorders are available now. As if this wasn’t exciting enough, the development team also announced that Vardan Kai, a Grand Master and Steward of the Armoury in the game, will be voiced by none other than legendary actor Andy Serkis, who is best known as Gollum in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, for which -coincidentally- Games Workshop also produces the Middle-Earth Strategy Battle Game.

Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate -Deamonhunters presents players with a cinematic turn-based tactical RPG and sees players take control of the Grey Knights, a squad of genetically enhanced Space Marines. These noble warriors must focus their efforts to defeat the forces of Chaos and stop the spread of the Bloom, a galaxy-spanning daemonic plague. Players who pre-order this exciting new title will receive access to two exclusive in-game items in the form of the ancient tome Domina Liber Daemonica and the centuries-old Destroyer of Crys’yllix Daemonhammer. Pre-orders are now available for Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters, which releases on May 5th, 2022 on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store for a suggested retail price of £34.99/$44.99/€44.99 for the standard version and £44.99/$54.99/€54.99 for the Castellan Champion Edition, which adds an exclusive character to the game.
