Relive the Battle of Caporetto with Isonzo today!
Today, Blackmill Games released the second update of historical WW1 FPS Isonzo’s three-part Caporetto expansion. The so-called Piave update is free and includes a new Offensive map where German soldiers attempt to cross the river Piave, while Italian soldiers defend it. Two new weapons are also available for both sides. This update is part of a series of free expansions, and discounts are available for other titles in the multiplayer WW1 Game Series on Steam.
The Battle of Caporetto was a major defeat for the Italian army and marked the beginning of the end for the Austro-Hungarian Empire. In Isonzo, players can change the course of history and determine which army will conquer the Piave. The historical multiplayer WW1 Game Series aims to bring the Great War closer than ever before, and the Caporetto expansion is based on careful research to reflect the challenges faced by soldiers on both sides of the conflict, using period maps and photography, written memoirs, and modern histories. The second part of the Caporetto expansion for Isonzo is now available for PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S players.
