Retro psychological horror Chasing Static comes to consoles
Over a year ago now, enjoyers of scary things were able to play Headware Games and Ratalaika’s low-poly psychological horror game Chasing Static for the first time. In this creepy and retro-inspired experience with a narrative focus, you play a man named Chris who gets lost in an abandoned town and uses a strange machine to pick up on supernatural frequencies. We reviewed the original PC version of the game here, but today it was announced the game will be making its way to consoles as well. Chasing Static will release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Switch on the 12th of January 2023. A new trailer was also released for the occasion, you can view it below!
