Return to the world of Fairy Tail with a new game!
KOEI TECMO America and Gust have announced Fairy Tail 2, a new action RPG based on the popular Fairy Tail franchise and a direct sequel to the 2020 game. The series is well-regarded by fans of both the manga and anime, with the original manga selling over 72 million copies worldwide. Fairy Tail 2 revisits the epic action of the original series’ climax, the Alvarez Empire Arc. In the new game, players can control Natsu and Lucy as main characters, along with other members of the Fairy Tail guild, to defeat their greatest enemy, Zeref, the Emperor Spriggan of the Alvarez Empire. Zeref is protected by the Spriggan 12 and the Black Dragon, Acnologia.
Fairy Tail 2 features 3D graphics and enhanced gameplay with more intense and spectacular battles. Players will use powerful magic and various strategic elements to take down enemies in stunning action sequences. The game also allows players to explore a vast map seamlessly, enhancing the experience of the original work while advancing the story of the final chapter. Additionally, the game introduces character stories, unique to Fairy Tail 2, offering players the chance to discover new aspects of their favorite characters. Fans will also enjoy an original story, The Key to Hidden Secrets, which explores events occurring after the final battle of the original work. Fairy Tail 2 is scheduled for release in winter 2024 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC via Steam.
