Revisit classic RuneScape quests in the Flashback miniquest
RuneScape’s 20th-anniversary celebration reaches another high point today as the Once Upon A Time: Flashback storyline debuts today. In Flashback, players relive RuneScape’s past to save the future of Gielinor. The antagonist of the story, Relomia, is rewriting old quests and altering history, causing main characters to meet their untimely demise. Players are asked to ally with the mysterious ghost Closure, who is working alongside Death. In order to help out Closure, players must journey to three classic RuneScape quests and fix the storylines in order to revive the characters. Players that successfully complete Flashback will obtain a Medium XP Lamp and Closure’s Book.
Flashback is the latest mini-quest in the Once Upon A Time series, which will unfold as RuneScape’s 20th anniversary year continues. This year-long event delivers adventures that focus on the past, present and future of RuneScape. Alongside Flashback’s arrival, Jagex also announced that Dark Horse Books will launch RuneScape: The First 20 Years – An Illustrated History this autumn. This tome will serve as the official companion to the game and gives players a never-before-seen look at the iconic fantasy RPG. A deluxe edition will be available exclusively on the RuneScape Merch Store.
