Roadmap for Home Behind 2 revealed ahead of full launch!
TPP Studio is gearing up for the full release of Home Behind 2 and has detailed the roadmap for the game’s near future. The roguelike RPG is set to receive language support for German and Russian next week, on the 16th of December, ahead of the game leaving Early Access next February. If you’re interested in picking it up, we suggest not waiting until then though, as a 20% discount will be applied if you purchase the game on the 15th of December!
For the uninitiated, Home Behind 2 is set in Scaria, a country that has been the grounds for a civil war over the last 10 years. This sequel is actually set 10 years before the original Home Behind and details the rule of the brutal dictator Akadullah. Players join the citizens of Scaria as they rise up against the oppressive regime. College student Banan, who returns from studying abroad, teams up with Prince, an eclectic agent from the Norto Republic, and Haroun, the disgraced son of a tribal leader. Together, this trio leads a patchwork group of revolutionary fighters into the depths of government territory.
That said, let’s take a look at what the following year looks like for the game:
- February 2022 – Home Behind 2 will leave Early Access on Steam and more content will be added to the game, including new stories, a new boss with a new side mission, new jobs with new skills, and new tactics.
- Q2 2022 – New random events with a new NPC, optional tactics, vehicle weapons, and accessories will be added to the game.
- Q3 2022 – The game will be enriched with three new jobs with corresponding new skills, regional features, and camp and news events.
- Q4 2022 – The developers will add another new boss with a new side mission, collectibles, and new types of mail.
