Roguelite open-world action game Ravenbound takes you behind the scenes
Have you heard about Ravenbound yet? It’s a Scandanavian lore inspired (and produced) open-world game with loads of action and roguelite elements where you get to improve yourself each time you die during a run. Systemic Reaction, the developers of Ravenbound, seem to focus on enemy A.I. a lot, just like in their game Second Extinction. This is also one of the things you get to see in their new behind-the-scenes developer diary, as well as some lore and gameplay mechanics. You get to choose your own route in the world before you, and you get to play with a deck-building feature during each run, which makes chance and luck also a small part of this action-packed game.
