Roller Champions – Now available to play for free!

The free-to-play sports game Roller Champions is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC! This game is backwards compatible, and thus also playable on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Roller Champions will be available for Nintendo Switch, Stadia and Amazon Luna at a later date. This game has been developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft.

In this new PvP sports game players compete in teams of three, skating against each other in fan-packed arenas. Players earn points by gaining possession of the ball and skate at least one lap without being interrupted by opponents, and throwing the ball through a hoop. The first team to get five points within seven minutes wins!

Teammates must work together, passing the ball to each other, and dodge and tackle efficiently to maintain possession of the ball. When the other team gets the ball, your team should try to tackle and knock over your opponents. By claiming victory, players can earn the support of many fans and climb the leaderboards all the way to the Elite Champions league.

Roller Champions can be played solo with equal opponents via the crossplay matchmaking system, or with friends. Cross-progression is also available on every platform allowing players to continue their quest for glory with the same profile. The game will also include a skate park which will function as a social hub, where players can meet up to practice or simply enjoy a few mini-games together.

The Kickoff Season is now live and will run from May 25 to June 21, 2022, introducing three arenas and two special time-limited game modes. In addition to the many items players can unlock, exclusive cosmetic rewards are available each season with the Roller Pass, a reward system divided into a free and a premium circuit.
