Rune Factory 3 Special launching this September
Over the years we have covered a few games in the Rune Factory franchise, with Rune Factory 4 Special and Rune Factory 5. Today the news comes from Marvelous Europe that their game Rune Factory 3 Special will launch on PC and Switch on September 5th.
In Rune Factory 3 Special players will set foot in the provincial town of Sharance. You are playing as a young man named Micah who has the extraordinary power to turn into a wooly that is a sheep-like monster. After a severe injury, Micah awakens with no memory of his past and is wedged between a longstanding conflict between monsters and humans. Now it is up to Micah to build bridges between the two worlds to restore the peace all while uncovering a shocking secret of his own. In this Special edition, there is new content such as the Hell difficulty and the Newlywed Mode, this mode is a set of standalone adventures that is unlocked after you marry one of the eleven eligible bachelorettes.
For the collectors, there is the option to get the game as a Limited Edition bundle which contains the following items: a 140-page A5 notebook, a Micah-themed pin, a woven patch, an A3 poster and character stickers. People who get the Limited Edition bundle or the Digital Deluxe edition will also get access to the Swimsuit Mode, in this mode, the characters will appear in their swimsuits year-round.
