Season 3 of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is now available!
KT Racing and NACON present the third season of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown (or TDUSC in short). Instead of introducing Clan Wars as originally planned, the developers decided to improve the game experience in response to community feedback. This free update is available to all players and introduces many new features.
Firstly, two new mission types are introduced. Navigation missions require players to reach a destination within a certain amount of time using only a compass. Convoy missions, on the other hand, challenge players to get a specific vehicle safely to the finish line.
As well as new cars being announced, more customization options have been added, including Clan Shops. There, players can buy various items for their cars and avatars. With a wide range of designs and customizable texts to choose from, personalized number plates are also making a comeback in this third season.
TDUSC also brings gameplay improvements with the introduction of Solo mode. In this mode, players can instantly start a race against AI opponents and can pause and restart the race at any time. In Solo mode, players can choose from five AI difficulty levels for their AI opponents. The rewards they receive are based on these difficulty levels.
Finally, the Solar Pass is once again free for all players. It now has 50 levels instead of 25, and allows players to unlock many cosmetic rewards. The developers continue to work on optimizing the game for both consoles and PC. They are also developing new features requested by the community for future seasons. Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
