Semisphere coming to Nintendo Switch
Puzzle games can be very entertaining and rewarding up to the point where you get stuck, rage and throw your mouse/controller at your screen in pure frustration. Luckily Vivid Helix anticipated this when they created Semispheres, a meditative parallel puzzle game with a soundtrack so relaxing it can put a baby to sleep. In Semispheres you enter a beautiful underwater world where you control two jellyfishes in a split screen mode, one is orange and the other one is blue. Both sides seem identical but looks can be deceiving. There are portals you can enter to go to from the orange field into the blue and vice versa. Tension is introduced through entities that guard the area and it’s up to the player to steer away from their field of vision and find a safe way to get to the other side. The endgame is to recombine both worlds and live happily ever after in a green utopia.
