Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments
The Sherlock Holmes games from Frogwares has been a long running series but has yet to push itself out of its niche market. The thing that I immediately think of when I think about the Sherlock Holmes’ games is creepy watson, and Justin McElroy.
Frogwares has left behind their in-house engine with the upcoming game and moved over to Unreal Engine 3 for the upcoming Sherlock Holmes foray. Which should hopefully make for a more appealing visual treatment of the cunning detective and his environments. The upgrade of visual fidelity isn’t the only new addition to the series, while solving the crimes you’ll have to struggle with the moral dilemma of whether or not you caught the true culprit.
Will you be able to utilize Sherlock Holmes brilliant mind to deduce who committed the crimes, or will you stumble and put away an innocent person behind bars?
Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments will make its way onto the PS3, 360, and PC later this year.
