Soldier Konrad Vollen revealed for Warhammer: Chaosbane
Bigben and Eko Software have released a video which presents soldier Konrad Vollen, one of four playable characters Warhammer: Chaosbane.
Konrad Vollen, a captian of the empire, has been trained in melee combat from his early youth. He is specialized in close combat and uses mostly melee attacks and special abilities voor short distance. He uses his shield to keep himself on his feet amongst hordes of enemies. Actions like provocation, sprint and whirling attack make him into a very powerful first-line fighter. He plants various flags to strengthen his troops and gain special bonusses.
Every character in the game has a special ability. Konrad Vollen has mastered the use of his shield to the point where he can use it to hit enemy to stun them. Thanks to his offerings to Sigmar, the vengeful god he worships, he can also use other passive and active abilities that enhance his capabilities in combat, like his incredible fire-aura.
Last but not least, Warhammer: Chaosbane offers a unique game mechanic that all 4 characters can activate. By slaughtering Chaos-hordes they can fill up their Bloodlust-meter. When this has been fully filled up, players can use their rage to use new, ultra-powerful skills and abilities.
Warhammer: Chaosbane is the first hack-and-slash-game that takes place within the world of Warhammer Fantasy Battles. The game puts the player in the heart of the Old World, a continent that has been scarred by the great war against Chaos, a bloody conflict that destroyed the empire of humans. Players can take the role of a human, high elf, wood elf or dwarf and go on an adventure in various iconic locations in the heroic Warhammer Fantasy Battles-universe.
Warhammer: Chaosbane is currently in development and will be released for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC in 2019.
