Soulblight needs your help for Steam Greenlight
There are some games that take pride in their past. Soulblight is one of such games. It harkens back to an era of games where it wasn’t just about leveling up your character or grinding, or collecting loot.
Soulblight is a top down rogue like RPG. Now where most games boast a ‘your choice defines the gameplay’, Soulblight takes it quite literally with the ‘Taint System’.The lands of ‘The Temple’, the choices made by you will award you with personality traits. Act accordingly and your character will excel, however the opposite is also true. Say for instance that the character turns out to be an alcoholic, and is boosted when under the influence of and alcoholic beverage. The opposite is that he or she will be unbearable when sober.
This makes it so that the ‘roleplaying’ is put back in RPG, and makes for an intriguing and possibly very immersive gameplay mechanic.
