Deck13 Spotlight and Wobble Ghost have announced the release date for Spindle, their upcoming heartfelt yet whimsical action-adventure game. The game invites players to don the Grim Reaper’s cloak and step into a world where, mysteriously, no one seems to die anymore. Taking on the role of Dengel, a reaper who guides souls to rest, players set off with their loyal pig companion to unravel a mystery that threatens the balance of life and death itself. Along the way, they’ll face dungeons filled with traps, riddles, and cunning enemies, all wrapped in charming, hand-crafted visuals that draw inspiration from classic childhood adventures.
While Spindle promises fast-paced combat and clever puzzles, its core lies in emotional storytelling—exploring themes of grief, loss, and healing in a way that feels accessible, empathetic, and deeply human. Mistakes and challenges are part of the journey, reminding players that processing grief comes in many forms and that each of them is valid.
