Star Renegades gets physical this week
If you’re a collector of physical games, you might want to pick up the boxed edition of Star Renegades, as it is set to launch soon as a limited run title. Publisher ININ Games and developer Raw Fury are bringing the rogue-lite strategy RPG -from the creators of Halycon 6: Starbase Commander at developer studio Massive Damage- to players this Friday, the 27th of August. The game was previously available as a digital-only title on a variety of platforms including PC and Xbox alongside the PS4 and Switch.
In Star Renegades, players join the rebellion to lead a ragtag rebel squad against the merciless Imperium in a series of fast-paced, tactical turn-based interplanetary battles. Featuring a timeline battle system, procedurally generated dungeons and unique enemies and bosses, this is a title that strategy fans are going to want to pick up. Those that prefer their games to look and sound great can look forward to hauntingly beautiful landscapes and ruins, rendered in a gorgeous pixel art style, and accompanied by epic synth-wave compositions and excellent sound design. In addition to the retail versions, there are two premium limited editions available for pre-order, exclusively at the Strictly Limited Games Partner Store. The Limited Edition comes individually numbered and includes a manual. The Collector’s Edition comes in a special box including a modular diorama, a beautiful artbook, the superior soundtrack and a lot more. Star Renegades is available on Switch and PS4.
