Star Vortex launches in Early Access later this year
Star Vortex, a sci-fi action RPG, is set to release later this year, between April and June, and is currently available on Steam as a demo. In the game, humanity is fighting a war when a new foe appears, hellbent on wiping out the species. The player must locate the gateway keys that will enable the military force to return to Earth and spread the word. This is achieved by exploring the current sectors you are in with your spaceship and vanquishing all enemies in your way. Your spaceship is the crux of these efforts; as such, the main focus of the game is expanding and upgrading your spaceship from a small frigate to a battleship that perfectly suits your playstyle.
Unlock new equipment slots, level up through three distinct upgrade trees, and discover item synergies to create your perfect space vessel. Explore procedurally generated sectors of space at your desired difficulty. Vanquish your foes and clear the path for humanity’s survival with your unique touch, utilising a vast array of weapons, including lasers, homing missiles, drones, Tesla coils, and many more. Each sector is procedurally generated, ensuring endless replayability and allowing players to try out various playstyles.
Star Vortex will be available on both Steam and the Epic Games Store, with a launch date scheduled for sometime during Q2, between April and June, and a demo is be available on Steam.
