Starship Troopers’ original Johnny Rico is now also in Starship Troopers: Extermination
Some people might have played Starship Troopers: Extermination in Early Access on Steam, but the game is still putting some final touches here and there before the full release on October 11, 2024. One of those touches is getting Casper van Dien, who portrayed the original movie’s Johnny Rico and is now a general in the game as you can hear at the end of the new trailer. His character will be important in the game’s full release as there is a complete single-player mode with 25 missions where Johnny Rico will hand out the orders. In the new trailer, there are also new bugs, battle gameplay, and a hint of weaponry that players will have access to. The developers also say that the current price for the Early Access version will be cheaper than the full price upon release, and that by the end of June, there will be more information about what to expect from version 1.0.
